10 Goals for 2010!

So I was really not wanting to do " New Years Resolutions" this year cause I allways fail badly and it is just not worth beating myself up over for it!

Than, today I read a post over at OceanDreams and have decided to fallow her and do what she is doing! So this is my 10 Goals for 2010! ( also stop over by OceanDreams and check it out yourself! She is a TON of fun to fallow and read her blog post!)

1. I am getting back on my Vegitarion diet! I lost 10 pounds the month I did it and want to keep on moving foward!

2. Journal faithfully at least 3 times a week! I have allways been VERY bad at journaling and would love to get better at it! No, I will not beat myself up if I miss a few days!

3,Complete my photography portfolio and get people booked for photoshoot! I really want to pull my photography out and get it set up so that I could do sr. photoshoots again this year! it worked out last year, but since the move its been crazy busy around here!

4. Scrapbook all my pictures! I have so many photos and I realy dont want them all to get ruined before I get them in the scarpbook! I wasnt to enjoy myself and my photos!

5. Enjoy every minute of being single! This year ( 2009) I have struggled allot with being single! I want to enjoy every minute of it this next year! I am going to do stuff that I would not be able to do unless i was single! I am going to enjoy my single life to the max!

6. Add a fury friend to my family! I have allways wanted a dwarf hampster and this year, I really wanna get one! If and when it happens I will post pictures on my blog so y'all can help me pick a name!

7 Get in the kitchen more! I love to cook but dont get in and make "fun" stuff that much! I have so many new cool recipes I have been wanting to try!

8. Write more letters! I have so many friends who love mail ( and so do I) I really need to write more letters! I belive the art of letter writing is leaving our world..but not mine :)

9, Smile, even in the hard times! I so often dont smile in the hard times of my life! I wanna smile more

10. DO BETTER AT BLOGGING!

ok..well thats done, and I dont now how well i did! Oh well..leave me a comment and tell me how crazy I am ! LOL! <3

Wishfull Wendsday!

ok..so today I am doing Wishfull Wensday that The Seattle Smiths hold every week..go check it out!

I WISH SANTA HAD REMEMBERED TO BRING ME.....................

well, for real, I dont think I was totally dropping any big hints this year so I dont have anything huge but...

I would have LOVED a nice black picture frame with my name spelled out in those really cool pictures! You now the once that they take any object, building, whatever and if it looks like the shape of a letter, and you can spell your name!

My little sister Jerusha, who is looking over my shoulder right now says she wishes Santa would have brough her a horse! One stands out more than any others, her pony Wonder! Yes, I did say her pony, not really hers but everyone calls it that for now!

well..I thinks thats all for that now!

So yesterday not long after I blogged a friend txt me a told me my facebook had been hacked and I needed to go change my statuse ASAP! She was right, it was no one i knew who hacked me but it sure was a NASTY message that was left! Sigh, Its sad that people live to just do stuff like that :(

Oh what a wonderfull Tuesday...so far!

Hi all!

So like my title says, so far its been a wonderfull day! Right now I HATE that the wireless at the Lodge were I usally get my internet is being stupid! Kicks me off every 5min! What should take you 15min to do takes you 45min! GAHHH! So needless to say im using the internet at my dads office and its really slow compared to the wireless! PLUS...right now im trying to load a TON of pictures on Snapfish to get printed!

Plus there prints are only 9 cents! And the shipping and handling is really good! Today for my prints im doing I get my 20 free, than i used my Coke Rewards Points so im getting another 30 free, PLUS, my good friend Taffi gave me a $10 gift card for there so I am going to get ALL my trip pictures printed PLUS my brothers graduation picture from May! Does anyone here " lots of scrapbook here soon!" lol!

My mom and I have been wanting to sit down and do scapbook so this will be good for me to have the pictures and get them in the albums right away! And no, I do not do the online scapbooking! I enjoy buying all the fun paper and stickers from Hobby Lobby and such! I love spending time really making my pages " come to life" ! Anyone else out there like scapbooking? When i get my pages done ill post pix of them up here!

So I have allso found an really cool site called www.theknot.com... its a really great site and I love it! Its a good place to dream, and so much more!

It has been a good Christmas this year! My family opened our stockings Christmas Eve Eve! Than the rest of the Sterrett family came over for christmas Eve and opened gifts! I got the cutest muck boots From my aunt and uncle!

This morning we opened our family gifts! Than we went over and and had lunch with the Ansleys! Miss Sissy and Jacob are allot of fun! Played hunting wii with Jacob most the afternoon! Than we had a little bit of rest time, and now were up at Dan'l and Sandys watching Little Lord Fontleroy!

Dear Blogger Friends!
So Sorry that I have not blogged in AGES! Things have been crazy Crazy CRAZY!

At this point in time I am in Nashville Tn! Yep, you heard me right! I have been on the road since last Wensday! I went/am on a road trip with my good friend Miriam! We left Tyler Texas ( her home) friday morning and and headed toward Natchiz Mississippi to start on the Natchiz Trace Parkway!
We have been enjoying ourselfs a TON! We stoped in Memphis for a few days and got to see Graceland, Peabody Hotel and so much more!
I have LOTS of pictures and will be sure to do several post in the days to come! I will be home on monday so please do note that I will not be blogging untill than!

Today was a HORRIBLE day!

I had a migrane for the first time in my life! I felt like my head was going to split in half! I stayed in my room with the windows shut and blinds down all day! Sight...NEVER want to do that AGAIN!

On better notes....

I am working on a web site for a new store that came in...called Sparkle and Shine! Its a boutigue! Very cute and the owner is a sweet ladie! When I get it all up and going ill post the link here!

Deep Thoughts!

I found this the other day and it really made me think! I totally agree with it..Im ready for whats going to happen..AND IM READY NOW! I so want to capitolize, highlight..whatever to that now...NOW!!! But than I relized...if i start saying im ready now..am I really?

Think of it this way... we have no clue whats going to happen next, so how do we know if were ready now?

I have been so excited for several friends! They have gotten blogging awards this week! I think these girls are so amazing! Allot of them inspire me with there blogs! Good job ladies!

Its amazing how well you can get to now people when you blog! Some of these ladies I have never ment before! But I allready love them! If we ment, im sure we would be great friends!

I totally LOVE this time of year..the allmost Christmas time! Christmas is my favorite time and I love it when it comes around!
So my mom and I went to Wal-Mart last night and I got Josh Grobens Christmas CD Noel!

This CD is just AMAZING! If you have never heard it YOU MUST LISTEN TO IT! I totally am in love with it!
Another CD that I cannot wait to go pick up in Tupelo is Casting Crowns new cd!

I got to listen to one of the songs online and it is amazing! I cannot wait to wear this cd out like I have the other 2!

Another new favorite of mine is SmallVille

I am only 4 episods into season one but am loving it allot!

As I get Christmas stuff up and all Ill post pic! Also going to put some yummy recipies on here soon too :)

Vegitarian..or close to it :)

I have been reading some great diets and saw the Dr. Oz show the other day and he talked about how a vergitarian diet can be very good for you! Plus one of my cousins is now a vegitarian and she lost a TON of weight doing it!

So I have decided that starting this week..I am going to be a vergitarian..or sorts! My family eats allot of chicken so ill still eat chicken and maybe the every once in a while other..but Im gonna try and lay off the bacon and all.

Try and do allot of salads and such! Im allso going to stay away from milk ( I have some issue with it anyways, my body does not like it all the time) and stay on my rice milk like I have done before! I have allso been encouged to try to-fu so I am going to give it a try in some ways that make it tast a little more..well..tast! We shall see how it all works out! I'll keep you all updated on it!

So..since Thursday I have been sick! I dont now what got me...I dont think it was " the Pig" but i have no clue..feeling a TON better now! So ready for work tomorrow! Need to bring in the paycheck!

So..y'all can help me out with this..I REALLY want to do a giveaway and..I am wanting to give away Casting Crowns new cd that is coming out in November..but I cant do it if I dont have fallowers..and I only have one :( So if you all would like to see me give that away..get me some more fallowers..and let me now your interested..and ill get somthing set up! So..The last 24 hours have been REALLY hard!

The last 24 hours have been really hard for me..let me try and recap it all for you.

Yesterday I had a meeting with the "new" guy who is running are work area...and found out that my job was only a temporary one from the begining ( i did not now this) and since there doing allot of moving around in our are..they do not have a postion for me anymore! They are letting me work through November but after that I do not have a job..and I will need to find a place to live.

So right now im kinda num...not sure what to feel..not even sure if I am feeling! I know God has somthing worked out..its just the resting and waiting im not good at! I getting box's again..and packing my room for the 6th time in 2 years..and looking for a new job..for the 5th time in 2 years.

Today a dear friend of mine from my collage year sent me a small package with Mark Hall's new book " Your Own Jesus" in it! It came at just the right time..every page i read just bless's my heart! How good He is to bring things when I need it!

So..I would ask you all to pray for me...pray for a job, a house, money, and just me.

Right now I feel so down...and have not felt this way in ages....sigh..thanks guys.

Its Cold Out....Its going to be a randum post :)

So today it is COLD!! My brother said it is snowing up in Pa and that there suppost to get 15 inches! I know that the cold here is nothing in comparision to what there getting but its still cold when your used to all the heat!

Its still not set in stone because of this job I have now but I may be able to work it in! I'll let y'all now how it works out! :)

Tonight there having my favorite meal at the dinning hall...lasonya! I am so excited! I am going to go up and get a carry out because I dont really want to eat up there!

Also Biggest Looser is on tonight and thats one of my favorite TV shows!

Harvesy Fest..Cold...Rain...And so much more!

Harvest Fest was on Saterday and thankfully the rain stoped before and stared back up after! It was cold and misty like all day so we did not get the amount of people we usally do but it all went ok!

I dressed as a Choctaw Indian and several of the girls wore the Anabelium dress's so we really made it look like the old days down here in the Historic area.

The action up at the school went well..we sold ALLOT of quilts and other fun stuff! One quilt went for $900! All the money goes back to the school!

So..I love cooking Holiday type stuff and found these on the Hostess With The Mostess blog! There a Martha Sewart recipie!

Here is the recipie for them if anyone wants to try them! I have not yet but plan on it soon!

Ingredients
Makes 22
1 sugar pumpkin, (about 1 1/2 pounds), peeled and seeded
1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree, or canned pumpkin puree
1 cup pecans
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Pinch of ground cloves
3/4 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs
2 seven ounce packages almond paste
Gel food color, orange, brown, and green
Cream Cheese Frosting

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two muffin tins with paper liners. Grate pumpkin in a food processor or on the large holes of a box grater (you should have about 2 1/2 cups). Transfer to a medium bowl, and add pumpkin puree and pecans.

In the bowl of a food processor fitted with the metal blade, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves; pulse to combine. With machine running, add oil and eggs; process until smooth, scraping sides of bowl as needed. Add pumpkin mixture; pulse to combine.

Spoon about 1/3 cup batter into each cupcake liner. Bake until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean, about 25 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
Make the marzipan pumpkins: Tint two-thirds almond paste orange, adding food color a dab at a time until desired color is reached. Tint a quarter of remaining paste brown and the rest green. Shape into leaves, stems, and pumpkins (see instructions below).
Decorate cupcakes with frosting and marzipan pumpkins. Store in airtight containers at room temperature up to 2 days

Marzipan Pumpkin How-To: Using a small rolling pin, roll out green almond paste about 1/8 thick; use a leaf cutter to cut out leaf shapes. Roll brown into small ropes; cut and shape into stems. Using the palms of your hand, shape orange into three-quarter-inch globes. Use a toothpick to poke holes in tops of pumpkins and to press creases from top to bottom. Attach leaves and stems to tops with a bit of frosting.

It has been raining like CRAZY around here! It rained for allmost 3 weeks than stop for about a week! This morning at 1:30 am it started up and again and has not stoped once! The grammer school we work with here let the kids out at lunch because of all the flooding and they may not be able to open all week since this rain is suppost to keep up!

I dont mind it to much! Its brought in the cold and i am FINALLY able to wear my sweaters and scarves!

Blogging Challange!

So I have made a few friends that I call my "blogger Friends"! I have never ment them in realy life but they are friends of a friend of mine! :) And they have been so cool to get to now!
So a friend of a friend gave a blogging challange..blog every day in October..so I am going to try and do it!!
So things are getting busy around here! Harvest Festival is on Saterday so were busy cleaning things and all that! The big push is to get the Sorgum in from the field by than for the Demonstartion on Saterday! Its been so wet and rainy we have not been able to get into the fields..its crazy!
Saterday I went over to Hair Perks were I get my hair and nails done, and they hosted a yard/craft sale! I set my Pampered Chef booth up there! I got 2 catologe shows and 2 possible cooking shows! Very happy! I also got to hang out with some really fun people, and booked a show with a Priemer Jewelry Ladie! If anyone wants to order some and help my party out let me now!
well..I better close..more tomorrow :)

Mud Between toe's, 4-wheeling, and gardening!

So...last night I baby sat my siblings and the Edwards kids ( there dad is the presedent of FCA) and we played in the yard! We have had non stop rain for the last 3 weeks and we took are shoe's off and just let the mud do whatever it wanted! Th mud squishing between by toe's was AMAZING! LOL!

This morning when I got up I had to put a hoodie on and it only game of 2 times today! IT WAS COLD PEOPLE! Everyone thought I was crazy..but it was COLD!

I went 4-Wheeling around 1ish with Marcie and really had fun with her! Got all mudding and my hair looked a mess..but it was so much fun!

This afternoon Heather ( an FCA student) and myself planted Pansie's and a few other flowers! The gardens are looking nice! I will take some pictures soon!

Its starting to feel allot like...Fall! :)

Ok...So as I have said MANY times.I LOVE FALL! And of course..here in the south it is hot! Well today IT IS FEELING LIKE FALL! <3

I got to wear a sweater this morning thats how cold it was!

The sun is out so its still nice but leave's are falling from the tree's and making there amazing crunching noise!

I pulled 3 pumkins from the field today, washed them up, and decorated on the front porch! Also cut the rest of the Zinnia's and they are sitting on the dinningroom table!

Bridal Shower Idea's!

ok...so as of last night I am doing a Bridal shower for my sister..but just a little diffrent than what you would usally do!

My Grandma Triana really wants to do Kelseys bridal shower...so last night Kelsey asked me to do a small one for her...I suggested a Lingerie Shower! She LOVED it! So thats what ill be doing! I think were going to do it the night before the weddding..maybe! Ryan ( the guy she is marring) will be at there house all night so she needs a place to run off to with the girls! I am thinking of getting a hotel room for the night!

I know that I have like a year and a half..but I've never done anything like this so am getting ideas now! Plus..in that amount of time..I could be planning my own wedding..or somthing else..who nows!
